Sangoma IP Phones forGrowing Businessesin Pakistan

Desk phones are built by the same company that makes FreePBX, PBXact, and Asterisk, so the phone and the phone system are designed and tested together. They set themselves up through zero-touch provisioning, and Capstar Solutions handles selection, bulk configuration, and local support from three offices in Pakistan

Why Sangoma

Why Choose Sangoma IP Phones for Your Business?

Sangoma IP phones make the most sense when your phone system is also Sangoma. Sangoma builds FreePBX, PBXact, Switchvox, and Asterisk, and designs its P-Series desk phones to work with all of them. The practical result is fewer surprises on rollout day: the phone system already knows the phone model, the keys map correctly, and firmware updates come from the same vendor that tests them.

Buying the phones and the PBX from one vendor also shortens support calls. When a call drops or a key stops working, nobody has to argue about whether the fault is in the handset or the server. Sangoma’s P-Series phones also behave the same way across every model, so staff who move desks or get a promotion do not need retraining.

Zero-Touch Auto-Provisioning

A new Sangoma phone contacts Sangoma's redirection service on first boot, gets pointed to your phone system, and downloads its extension, keys and settings. For a 200-phone rollout, that means no one types SIP credentials into 200 handsets

Built-in Business Apps

On a Sangoma PBX, the phones run apps for contacts, presence, call logs, parked calls, call queues, conference control and hot desking, with visual voicemail on every model except the P315. Users do not have to memorise feature codes.

Encryption and VPN built in

Every current P-Series phone supports TLS for call signalling and SRTP for the audio, plus 802.1X network authentication and a built-in OpenVPN client. A branch office or home user can connect back to head office without extra VPN hardware at their desk.

Deep Sangoma Platform Integration

FreePBX and PBXact provision phones via Endpoint Manager, Asterisk through DPMA, and Switchvox, Business Voice, and CommUnity natively. As standard SIP v2 phones, they can register to other SIP platforms, but built-in apps require a Sangoma server.

Headset-Ready on Every Model

All Sangoma desk phones support wired headsets with an electronic hookswitch (EHS), so users can answer calls from the headset without touching the handset. The P325, P330, and P370 also accept USB headsets, and the P330 and P370 have Bluetooth.

HD Voice on a Busy Network

G.722 wideband audio and a full-duplex speakerphone with echo cancellation keep calls clear. VLAN, LLDP and QoS support let your network team put voice traffic in its own lane, so a large file download does not break up a customer call.

Sangoma P-Series Phones: Which Models Are Available?

Sangoma’s current P-Series range has four desk phones and one expansion module. They share one menu layout and one set of apps, and differ in screen size, number of lines, and wireless features.

Sangoma P315

The P315 is Sangoma's lowest-cost current desk phone, built for places that need dozens of reliable phones and do not need many features. It has a 2.4-inch color display, two line keys, a Busy Lamp Field key, and four fixed feature keys for Messages, Hold, Redial, and Transfer. Its two Gigabit ports let a PC share the phone's network cable without slowing down, which matters when you are wiring a floor of desks on one switch.

Best for: retail counters, classrooms, warehouses, hotel rooms, and shared desks, wherever users mostly make and take simple calls.

Sangoma P325

The P325 is the standard office phone in the range. It adds a 4.3-inch color IPS screen, six line keys, and a paging key that cycles through up to 20 BLF and speed-dial pages, so users can monitor and call many colleagues from one phone. It replaces the P320, which Sangoma has discontinued.

Best for: office staff, team leads, and sales users who monitor several colleagues’ lines.

    Sangoma P330

The P330 is the top mid-range model. It has 12 line keys and a paging key for up to 10 pages, for a total of 120 BLF and line keys. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you place the phone on a desk without a network cable, and Bluetooth lets users walk away with a wireless headset. It also accepts the PM200 expansion module.

Best for: managers, supervisors, and staff who move around the office or sit where cabling is hard.

The Sangoma P370 is the flagship: a 7-inch, 800 × 1280 multi-touch color screen, 16 SIP accounts on software keys, Gigabit Ethernet, built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and two USB ports for a headset and expansion module. The large touchscreen shows the phone apps at full size, so an executive can see who is on hold, park a call, or manage a conference call without scrolling.

Best for: executives, department heads, and high-call-volume roles such as account managers and helpdesk leads.

        Sangoma PM200 Expansion Module

The PM200 is a sidecar console with its own 4.3-inch colour display and 20 programmable keys across 3 virtual pages, giving 60 extra BLF or speed-dial keys per module. Sangoma allows up to six modules on one phone, for 360 extra keys. It works with the P330 and P370 only, so a reception desk should be built on one of those two phones.

Best for: receptionists, switchboard operators and front-desk staff who transfer calls all day.

          Sangoma DC201 DECT

Some staff should not be tied to a desk at all. Sangoma's DC201 is a DECT base and handset, which Sangoma lists with a range of up to 50 metres. It suits supervisors on a shop floor or in a warehouse. Capstar Solutions confirms DC201 support on your phone system and checks radio coverage in your building before you order.

Best for: floor supervisors, security desks and store managers.

            Still Using a Sangoma P310, P320, or S-Series Phone?

Sangoma has stopped selling the P310, P320 and all S-Series phones (S206, S305, S406, S505 and S705). Support for the P310 and the S206, S406, S505 and S705 ended in December 2023, and the P320 reached end of sale and end of support on 31 January 2026, according to Sangoma’s End-of-Life register. These phones will keep ringing, but they will not receive new firmware or security fixes. If you are expanding an office or replacing faulty units, buy the current model below rather than hunting for old stock.

            • The P330 adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and support for the PM200 expansion module.

For the S206 and S406, Sangoma’s register names the P310 and P320 as replacements and lists the S206, S406, P310, or P315 as replacements for the S305. The P310, P320, and S-Series options have all since been discontinued, so the cards above point to the current model. Capstar Solutions can re-provision a mixed estate of old and new Sangoma phones on the same PBX and move users across in stages.

Why Buy Sangoma IP Phones from Capstar Solutions?

You can order Sangoma IP phones from many places. What is harder to find is someone who checks the phone against your PBX version, registers the phones for zero-touch provisioning before they ship, and answers when a key mapping is wrong on Monday morning. Capstar Solutions is a unified communications integrator in Pakistan, working across cloud and hybrid voice, contact centers, AV and conferencing, and cybersecurity, with teams in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

That wider view matters for business VoIP phones in Pakistan. Your desk phones sit on the same network as your SIP trunk from PTCL, Wateen, Transworld or Nayatel, your firewall and your switches. Capstar Solutions looks at all of it, so a new phone rollout does not expose a problem somewhere else.

Where Do Sangoma Desk Phones Work Best?

Sangoma desk phones suit any organisation that runs a Sangoma or Asterisk-based phone system. These are the settings we see most often in Pakistan.

use case corporate office ip phones

            Corporate Offices

A mix of P325 phones on most desks and P370 phones for management, all on FreePBX or PBXact. Hot desking lets staff log in at any phone with their voicemail PIN.

use case warehouse manufacturing ip phones

            Warehouses and Manufacturing Floors

P315 phones at fixed stations, DC201 cordless handsets for supervisors, and P330 phones on Wi-Fi where running a cable to a desk is impractical.

use case retail counter ip phone

            Retail Counters

The P315 is small, low-power and affordable enough to put at every till. Two lock ports help keep phones in place in busy customer areas.

use case healthcare front desk ip phones

            Healthcare Front Desks

Clinic and hospital reception teams need to see who is free before transferring a patient's call. A P330 with BLF keys shows the status of every nurse station.

use case school classroom ip phones

            Schools and Training Centres

Colleges, schools and training centres use P315 phones in classrooms and P325 phones in admin offices, with paging and intercom for announcements.

            use case reception attendant console

            Reception and Attendant Consoles

A P330 or P370 with one or more PM200 modules provides operators with one-touch transfer to any extension in the building, with live busy/idle status.

            FAQ

Sangoma IP Phones: Frequently Asked Questions

The questions IT managers and procurement teams ask us most before ordering Sangoma phones.

Which Sangoma IP phone models are currently available?

Sangoma’s current desk phone range is the P-Series: the P315 entry-level phone, the P325 and P330 mid-range phones, and the P370 executive touchscreen phone, plus the PM200 expansion module for the P330 and P370. The older P310, P320 and all S-Series models (S206, S305, S406, S505 and S705) have reached end of sale on Sangoma’s End-of-Life register, so Capstar Solutions supplies the current models and helps you replace the older ones.

Are Sangoma IP phones compatible with FreePBX?

Yes. Sangoma P-Series phones are FreePBX-compatible IP phones by design because Sangoma develops FreePBX; they are provisioned through FreePBX and PBXact Endpoint Manager and support Sangoma’s built-in phone apps, including visual voicemail, presence, call queues, parking, and hot desking. The same phones also work with PBXact, Switchvox, Sangoma Business Voice and CommUnity, and with Asterisk through the Deskphone Module for Asterisk (DPMA). Because they use standard SIP v2, they can also register to other SIP platforms, though the built-in apps depend on Sangoma’s own servers.

            What is Sangoma zero-touch provisioning?

Zero-touch provisioning lets a Sangoma phone configure itself the first time it is plugged in. The phone contacts Sangoma’s redirection service, which recognises its MAC address from the list registered in the Sangoma Portal and points it to your phone system; the PBX then pushes the extension, keys and settings. Capstar Solutions registers your phones in bulk before delivery, so staff only need to connect the network cable.

Which Sangoma phone is best for a receptionist?

A receptionist who transfers calls to many colleagues should use a Sangoma P330 or P370 with one or more PM200 expansion modules. Each PM200 adds 20 programmable keys across 3 virtual pages, 60 keys in total, and Sangoma allows up to six modules on one phone. The PM200 does not work with the P315 or P325, so those models are not suitable for a busy attendant desk.

Do Sangoma IP phones support PoE, Gigabit Ethernet and wireless headsets?

All current Sangoma P-Series phones support Power over Ethernet and have two Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbps) Ethernet ports, so the PC can share the phone’s network port. Every model accepts a wired headset through the RJ9 port with electronic hookswitch (EHS) support. The P325, P330 and P370 also accept USB headsets, and the P330 and P370 add built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

How much do Sangoma IP phones cost in Pakistan?

Prices depend on the model mix, quantity, whether you need PM200 modules or headsets, and the provisioning and support you want included, so Capstar Solutions quotes each order rather than publishing a price list. Send the number of users, their roles and your current phone system through the quote form, and Capstar will return an itemised quote for hardware, provisioning and support.

What warranty and support come with Sangoma phones from Capstar Solutions?

Sangoma P-Series phones carry a one-year manufacturer warranty. Capstar Solutions handles warranty claims locally, keeps firmware current through the phone system’s Endpoint Manager, and supports your team from offices in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, so you are not raising tickets with an overseas vendor yourself.
